Valparaiso Boys 61, Warsaw 52

Warsaw hit the road Wednesday night but couldn’t come home with a win in the Region.

The Vikings had seven players score against the Tigers, led by Clay MacLagan’s 15 points and six rebounds. Colton Jones added 11 points and Breece Walls had nine points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Warsaw (5-4) saw Jaxon Gould again pace the offense with 14 points, Judah Simfukwe had 10 points and Drew Heckaman came off the bench to score nine points.

Valpo also held form in the JV contest, winning 38-34. Derrick Brooks led the hosts with 10 points while Nick Katris scored nine points for the visitors.

Warsaw will host Leo next Wednesday.
