Baker, Heagy Lead Lady Tigers to Blowout Over Wabash

Warsaw's strength and size wore down a talented Wabash squad and the Tigers rolled to a 58-36 victory Tuesday night in the Tiger Den. The Tigers outscored Wabash 16-3 in the fourth quarter to nail down the victory. The victory moves coach Michelle Harter¹s tigers to 4-1 heading into Saturday's Northern Lakes Conference opener at Plymouth.

Lindsay Baker fired in 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Warsaw. Sarah Heagy had 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists, and Sarah Ray and Brooklyn Harrison each added 8 points. Nikki Grose was a presence around the basket with six points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots. Madi Davis frustrated the Wabash front-court and had three steals.

Warsaw won the JV game 35-31 to move to 3-2 overall. Gabby Monroy had 13 points and 8 rebounds, and Courtney Farling had 10 points and five rebounds.
