All 14 Lady Tigers Score In Rout of Concord, 75-36

The words "Perfect Game" are usually reserved for that contest in which two amazing teams fight to an ending that decides the game in the final minutes. Like a Colts/Patriots game in which ESPN immediately begins to air the footage on ESPNClassic.
This contest between the Warsaw Lady Tigers and Concord Lady Minutemen was much different. Different in that only the Lady Tigers came into this contest considered a good team while Concord was struggling along at 7-8 (0-3 NLC).
That being said, this game turned out to be perfect for the Lady Tigers. Listen to this and see if you can find the amazing set of circumstances that occurred over the first 3:30 of action. Mind you, these were the first 5 times the Lady Tigers touched the ball:
Possession #1 -- Junior Kayla Stout scored the first basket for Warsaw. Warsaw 2 - Concord 0
Possession #2 -- Sarah Shilling scores on an assist from Kelci Freds. Warsaw 4 - Concord 0
Possession #3 -- Cendall Ogle drains a 15' jump shot from the top of the key. Warsaw 6 - Concord 0
Possession #4 -- Kaelee Sands swishes a jumper from the left wing. Warsaw 8 - Concord 0
Possession #5 -- Kelci Freds connects from long distance for a 3-pointer. Warsaw 11 - Concord 0
5:26 left in the first quarter.
Did you see it? Do you see the amazing in that 11-0 start for the Lady Tigers?
You're right! This is the first basketball game I have ever been to in which all 5 starters scored in succession the first 5 baskets of the game without missing a single shot.
Think about it. All 5 Warsaw starters scored on consecutive trips down the court and not one of them missed a single shot. So the Lady Tigers were a perfect (5 for 5) from the floor as a team and a perfect (1 for 1) as individuals. And Concord had yet to even score a single point! Incredible.
Want more you say? We got it.
Concord managed to score 10 first quarter points...all by the same girl. Sophomore guard Trenee Brownlee scored all 10 points for Concord.
While the Lady Tigers were busy getting the entire team into the act, Concord could muster only 1 player who could find the basket.
Needless to say, the night was not a good one for the visiting Lady Minutemen. In all, Warsaw scored 23 first quarter points
End of Quarter 1: Warsaw 23 - Concord 10
Warsaw adds to the perfectness...
Coach Michelle Harter would send a grand total of 14 Lady Tigers into this game on the night. You guessed it -- every single girl would find the net for points during their minutes of action.
Warsaw Sophomore, Sarah Heagy completed the perfection when she scored on her own miss late in the fourth quarter. The Tiger Crowd roared as Heagy scored to cap a perfect evening of basketball in the Tiger Den.
Sophomore Ryesha Jackson led Warsaw with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Junior Kayla Stout pitched in 12 points and 4 boards.

The Lady Tigers improved to 5-0 in the NLC. Warsaw will host defending champion Elkhart Memorial Tuesday night January 26th. Elkhart Memorial is 17-2 (3-2 NLC) on the season. If the Lady Tigers win this game they can do no worse than share the NLC title with the Northwood Lady Panthers.
Complete coverage of the Elkhart Memorial game will be posted here at www.TigerSportsNation.com
