2009-2010 Tiger Basketball Camp Around the Corner
Written By TSN Staff on Friday, May 28, 2010
It was only 2 months ago that the Warsaw Tiger Basketball Program made history by finishing their amazing season as 2009-2010 State Runner-Ups. Tiger Seniors Justin Clemens, Andy Conrad and Zack Linky time and time again astonished the Tiger Den with exceptional help from next year Senior Nic Moore and next year Juniors Jordyn Coon and Lucas Gross. The NLC Champion Tigers went 7-0 in the NLC Conference, finished sixth in the Final 4A AP Poll and Justin Clemens won the Trester Award. Did we mention they were the 2009-2010 State Runner-Ups?
For Coach Doug Ogle's Warsaw Tiger Basketball Program, these incredible seasons year in and year out start with their annual Tiger Basketball Camp. Last year's theme was "Each Job Counts" and it's clear that he brought that theme up through the ranks of his younger players in elementary and middle school and into his Frosh, Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball squads at the high school levels.
This year's theme is "Strength of Character". Tiger Basketball Camp 2010 is skill driven. The teaching focuses are on basketball skills and life skills. The basketball skills include shooting, lay-ups, dribbling, passing, rebounding and much more.
5 on 5 league games will be played daily with a tournament capping off the week. Individual competitions, by grade, will be held to give the campers an opportunity to demonstrate their skills.
