Tiger Baseballers Busy With Action On The Diamond

The Varsity Tiger Baseball team won 2 out of 3 games over the past 72 hours. The Tigers are now 9-8 (5-4 NLC) overall on the season. The boys will play another four games in five days beginning Tuesday at home vs. Goshen then Wednesday at Northwood. The Tigers will then travel to Middlebury Friday to take on the Northridge Raiders before returning home this weekend to battle FW Carroll at Tiger Field.
VARSITY BASEBALL ACTION - MAY 10th
VARSITY: PLYMOUTH 4 WARSAW 2
The Tigers fell to Plymouth at home on Monday. Aaron Christenberry had three hits while James Miglin added two hits including a double. Josh Witt stuck out nine in a losing cause.
JR. VARSITY: WARSAW 7 PLYMOUTH 3
The JV squad was led by Brock Anson, Kyle Morris and Mitchell Gosnell who each hit home runs. Taylor Berelsman connected for a double. Forde Ness was the winning pitcher.
Both teams will host Goshen on Tuesday in a game rescheduled from May 7.

Game #2 - WARSAW 3 SB RILEY 1
The Tigers swept Riley in South Bend on Saturday. Leading the seventeen hit attack in game one was James Miglin with three hits including a home run. Aaron Christenberry also had three hits including a double. Tom Daniels connected for a grand slam home run as well. Josh Witt had two hits with a double while Joey Hickerson had two hits. Miglin got the win on the mound. In game two, Hickerson and Austin Moore each had two hits and Moore was also the winning pitcher.
