James Miglin came up big for the Tigers Wednesday night. Miglin's two-run homer in the top of the 5th inning proved to be the difference for Warsaw. The victory was huge for the Tigers as they came off a miserable week of action. The 2-1 win gave Warsaw its first victory in their last seven contests. After starting the season with a 6-1 record, Coach Mike Hepler's squad had a rough week and can now put that behind them as they look forward to finishing the season strong.
James Miglin hit a two run homer while Stephen Straits had a triple and Josh Witt hit for a double. Aaron Christenberry also had two hits for Warsaw. Miglin got the win on the mound.
In the JV win, Mitchell Gosnell led the offense with a home run and two doubles. Kyle Morris also had two hits. Forde Ness was the winning pitcher. The Tigers will host Goshen on Friday night.
