The Tigers got their first win of the season in Syracuse. Winning on the mound was Joey Hickerson (1-0). Leading the thirteen hit attack was Hickerson and Aaron Christenberry with three hits each, while Austin Franzen, Riley Reinholt, and Brady Ousley each had two hits. Christenberry also had a double.

Winning for the JV squad was Forde Ness. The Tiger's bats were led by Jason
Ferguson, Brandon Shipp, and Peter Shepherd, all with doubles.
